At St. Francis Center, our dedicated recreation department understands the importance of socializing and forging friendships, all while keeping active, which is why they provide our residents with a stimulating variety of recreation programs on an individual and small- and large-group basis. The Director of Therapeutic Recreation plans a monthly schedule of activities, programs and special events, including musical entertainment, games, gardening, craft projects, movies, pet therapy, intergenerational activities and community outings. Additionally, upon admission, our therapeutic recreation staff determines activity interest by completing activities assessments, which are used to develop individualized programs for residents.
